LOCATION
Located just below Damphu Higher secondary School, the resort offers a peaceful and tranquil stay away from the bustle of town, but not far enough to make it a difficult task to get to civilization. It is about three kilometers from the main Damphu Town, which can prove to be a nice walk and a healthy exercise for those willing to stretch their muscles.
About 160kms from the Capital city Thimphu, most of the inhabitants of this district are Lhotshampas who live closely but scattered all over the hillside. It is a beautiful drive to reach there from Wangdue Phodrang as one crosses Punatsangchhu Hydro Power and Bhutan’s first tunnel which is about 2kms long, and along the river banks then slowly the hillsides come alive with settlements as the road meanders up the mountain to reach its main town Damphu. An alternate route would be travelling from Gelephu which shares its border with India. It is an uphill journey which takes about 2-3 hours.

A small junction that divides Tsirang and Dagana road about 130kms from Thimphu, it is a great place to camp there. Once can enjoy the wild life, especially birds, and engage in catch and release fly-fishing.
The land is fertile, the climate is suitable and the inhabitants of this districted are scattered all over and most of the locals are into farming, turning the hillside into various shades of the rainbow. There are many orange orchards, poultries farms, co-operative farming and vegetable farms.
